TakosuVP is a GachaTuber with 32.7k subscribers, and her account was made on January 27th of 2019. 2 months ago in a community post, Takosu stated that they would be rebranding/revamping as KotahVP on a new channel, due to the name TakosuVP being associated with Gacha content.
Controversy
A video titled "Gachatuber: A Threat To The Community" uploaded to YouTube by a user named iDashie claims how TakosuVP made light of the LenTotally situation by joking about an audio of Len, along with pinging admins intentionally and trying to ping everyone to get into the VC. iDashie says that she is a hypocrite for doing this, since TakosuVP has said multiple times to not make fun of the situation and to take it seriously.
TakosuVP states in a response video that she and her friends were doing it to prove a point to the staff members in the Discord server because of how the way some staff members were victim-blaming, hinting at the victim, etc. and she did not intend to make light of the situation with what she did. Another reason for this is because LenTotally was allowed back into the server and given a role as high as admin, even with the actions he had committed.
Wani, someone else who talks briefly in the video, also says that a couple of staff members such as Dashie, Kai, excluding the lower-ranked staff members, even knew about this and didn't do anything for some time.
Menma also says in the video that iDashie put their tags in the video and comments, knowing full well that they would get attacked for what they did and that their mental health could get potentially damaged by it.
