About
Kurie, formerly known as GachaKura and Gacha Kurie is known as a Gacha Editor throughout who specializes in usually with animated memes, skits and occasional GLMMs or GLMVs. She gained fame for her 'First Meet Meme' and 'How You Like That Meme' which got the attention of RosyClozy and Gacha Vida. The channel is run by a couple, referred to as Mr. and Mrs. Kurie.
Kurie is a now retired and have since left the community. In her Community Post explains that the channel will be taking into a new direction and the origins of said channel. Read it down below -
Retirement
Hi Fam. Hope you are ready for a much needed summer this year! I'm writing this community post in order to address some things in regards to us and the channel. First and foremost, we are expecting our first child in late December of this year! We won't know if it's a boy or girl until our child is born, so it'll be a huge surprise for all of us. We will keep you guys updated! With that said, starting a family comes with many responsibilities, both personal and financial. So, it is with great sadness that Mr and Mrs Kurie will be quitting Gacha and turning the content of this channel into a ministry for Jesus. Mrs Kurie will focus on the baby + the ministry, while Mr Kurie will be working in order to support the family + the ministry. Unfortunately ad revenues from short-form content on YouTube do not monetize well, nor is it reliable or consistent. And quite frankly, we have been struggling to keep up with these YouTube videos because our hearts have been pulled in another direction, it really has been for awhile now. There's one more thing we've been wanting to clear up ever since we made our Q&A 10K Sub Special video. It is never an easy thing to come clean, especially when the easier route would have been to have never mentioned it, but we feel that it was the right thing to do moving forward. From the beginning, we made it clear to our viewers that this channel was run by a couple (Mr & Mrs Kurie), and that Mrs Kurie would focus on animation + communication. While Mr Kurie focused mainly on communication + soon-to-be animation. However, this was not the case. When we started this channel together, the plan was for both of us to start animating, and work on creating content together. But due to personal issues, Mrs Kurie was not able to contribute to the animation aspect but could only help in script writing, story building, asset building, rigging, and communication (basically everything besides the animation aspect). We initially decided to make Mrs Kurie the face/brand of the channel because if it weren't for the fact that she inspired Mr Kurie to become a GachaTuber and do this YouTube thing together, then this channel would not be here today. If it weren't for Mrs Kurie's most popular story from her old blog that inspired us to create a GLS based on it, then we would not have the courage to begin this journey at all. And while we were pumping out our first few uploads on our channel, everyone had assumed that it was run by just a single person, a girl. Mrs Kurie decided that she did not want to pursue animation although it was our initial plan when we first started our journey. This left us in a very awkward and uncomfortable situation. And by the time our 10K Sub Special came out, in fear of public scrutiny we decided to continue the narrative that Mrs Kurie was the animator. The plan was for Mrs Kurie to actually begin animating so that she could step into her role. However, it never came to be. However, it never sat right with us to simply forget our past, cover our tracks, and to move on with a story about us that would become more aligned with the truth. We still had a past that we weren't too happy about. Neither of us intended to live out something that wasn't completely true, but the fear/pressure to conform with what people thought was already the narrative was easier in our minds at the time. Well, now it's out in the open, and all we can hope for moving forward is that you guys can forgive the choices we made. We may be YouTubers but we are people no different than any of you. And as devoted Christians, the right thing to do is to admit our mistakes, and strive to become better for others' sakes. The Fam deserves to know the truth. Our next video will be our first ministry video releasing very soon. We do not recommend anyone who is 13 or older to watch as it may include some sensitive themes/topics. Kurie's hair is a muted brown tone, her hair were tied with a pink scrunchie into a high ponytail. She has the same muted brown color for her eyes and wears white vintage glasses. Her jacket's hood is shaped like a bunny with the ears and kawaii-esqe face. She wears a dark grey sports shorts with black socks and white sneakers.

Overall Kurie has a good relations with Gachatubers.
