Path to Adminship describes the GachaTubers Wiki Path to Adminship program.
How it works
Users who have either applied for rollback or Thread mod or have been contacted by a staff member for those two roles start at either of the two roles. Once either the user shows growth in these two roles, they can be promoted to Content Moderator as a rollback, or maybe both a rollback and Thread Moderator if they do not have either of the roles. If you are a Content Moderator, you can apply for the Thread Mod role.
Requirements
The two entry level positions have the requirements as follows:
Rollback
- 50-100 edits, although exceptions can be made if they were recommended by a staff member or contacted by a staff member.
- Experience in the English language.
- Is able to use the RollBack role. If you do not use this responsibly or at all, you may be demoted.
Thread Mod
- 300-500 posts, although it can vary based on how active the user is in the discussion area.
- Experienced in English.
Content Mod
- 400-500 edits and they show responsibility.
- Experienced in the English language.
Administrator
Depending on the type of roles they have served, they can function as an administator in both categories.
Content
- Must have at least 600 edits.
- Knows how to use their rights properly.
Thread
- Must have 2.5k-3000 posts.
The administrators have the responsibility of verifying GachaTubers if the bureaucrats cannot.
Bureaucrat
Bureaucrats must be promoted from an administrator position if there is a time where anither bureaucrat is needed. If there is a shortage, Content Mods and Thread Mods can apply for an administrator position, hold it for a few months, then once the time for a new bureaucrat comes, they may run to be a bureaucrat.
Requirements
- Has been active on the Wiki for over 2 years.
- 1000 edits.
Notes
- if you retire and would like to return to the staff team, you'd have to work your way up to your former position.
- This process can take 6 months to a few years depending on the time and effort you put into the community.
