There are many types of things that can be issued when a user misbehaves. These are:
- Notices
- Warnings
- Blocks
- Bans
So, what is the difference?
- A Notice usually is given to remind you that what you did is wrong, but it's a friendly reminder. once someone has obtained a singular notice in the category, it becomes a warning.
- A warning is a notice, however, when 1-3 warnings are accumulated, it is possible to receive a week long block.
- Blocks are the less severe version of bans, as you can return after the block is over. In order to get a block, you'd have to ignore the warnings and notices. If the block is longer than a month, you can appeal said block.
- Bans are the most severe form of punishment, as these usually occur when slurs are used, vandalism, or not listening after the last 2-3 blocks.
Notice
- A notice is given to remind a user of something that didn't know was wrong, usually these notices cannot be deleted.
Warnings
- A warning is usually given when an infraction has occurred. A notice is usually given beforehand, but in cases where a notice does not do anything, warnings are given out instead.
Blocks
- There are 3 types of blocks:
- week long- A week long is the first step of the blocking system. These blocks are a attempt of getting users to think about their actions. These blocks cannot be appealed as they are under 1 month.
- 1 month- A month long block is the second step of the blocking system. These blocks can be appealed
- 1 year- A year long block (365 days) is the most severe form of block, and you can appeal this block as well.
Bans
- A ban is a permanent Ban, or an indefinite ban depending on the severity.
